Flower Beauty Shimmer & Shade Palette in Cool Natural

Today I have the second new Flower Beauty product that I purchased recently at Walmart to share with you. This is the Flower Beauty Shimmer & Shade Palette in Cool Natural. This palette features 10 shadows and one really decent application brush in a beautiful cream case for $14.98.
The Flower Beauty Shimmer & Shade Palette in Cool Natural has a mix of mattes and shimmers in one of the most beautiful color schemes I have ever seen. Being a lover of more cool toned shadows, this is the palette of the four that appealed to me most and I was very excited to get it home to try out.
The presentation of these new Flower Beauty eyeshadow palettes is beautiful. You have the cream white case with the gold lettering, that gives the palette a higher-end feel. I love that you can see the shadows through the case and that you get a brush with each palette. The brush is supposedly a $6 value on it's own, making the palette a nice deal overall in price. The brush also happens to be very soft and usable. I used it a few times and it's definitely not one of those throw away brushes.
Now let's talk about the formula of these New Flower Beauty Eyeshadow Palettes. The shadows are so buttery soft, in a few cases a little too soft in my opinion. According to product description, these shadows are triple pressed for that satiny consistency. The only problem with that is that a few shades, especially the mattes, are so soft that they are very messy in the pan and have a lot of fall-out.

Of course many eyeshadows have a fall-out, including Lorac, Anastasia Beverly Hills and Kat Von D shadows, so that's not an end-all for me at all. It's just something I have to work with a little more: by tapping off excess or grabbing less product, etc. Which means that this would not be a palette that I would reach for if I was in a hurry.
Shades 3 and 4 from the top are my favorite! I could see myself reaching for this palette just for those two shades.
The other thing that I think is worth noting is that the shimmer shadows don't have a super shimmery/metallic finish. I find that their finish is a little more subdued, which makes for a nice daytime look with a little more pizzaz. But if you're looking for an evening look with a big metallic or shimmery finish, then this would not be the palette to give you that. I guess it depends on what you're looking for. I like my shimmer shadows to have a little more oomph so that was something I definitely wish was different about these. Maybe some Mac Fix + would help?

Who is the Flower Beauty Shimmer & Shade Palette in Cool Natural good for?

The Flower Beauty Shimmer & Shade Palette in Cool Natural is for anyone who is looking for a beautiful cool-toned palette, BUT that is willing to put a little extra work into it. This shade selection doesn't come along that often and it's what excited me about this palette. It's also a good value considering you get 10 shadows and a nice quality brush. But if you don't like really soft shadows that tend to give fall-out or don't like this particular color scheme, I would say skip it.
