PÜR Cosmetics X Dreamwork's Trolls Eyeshadow Palette

I was very excited to receive the upcoming PÜR Cosmetics X Dreamwork's Trolls Eyeshadow Palette a few days ago! Of course having a ton of kids in the family, they went to see Dreamwork's Trolls - the movie a few months ago, and since then it's been all Trolls, all the time. 

Awww...so cute! I didn't even see the movie and I can still appreciate this palette so much.

I was excited to see this collaboration arrive at my doorstep and could not wait to see what was inside. When I found out it was a palette inspired by the movie , I did a little dance, but hoped that it would be wearable while still maintaining the fun and enchantment of the movie. 

I have to say that I soon as I opened the palette I was very pleasantly surprised. While there are a few pops of color, which keep the Trolls theme alive, there are some really wearable day-to-day shades as well. Overall, I think the palette is really beautiful and I received many comments stating the same thing when I shared it on social media upon receiving it. 

The packaging of this palette is very simple, yet very cute and I love the Trolls details added to the front and mirror. If you loved the movie, then you will love the shade names a lot, I have to say that I am pretty partial to the DJ Suki shade.

Now for the best part of the palette, performance of the shadows. You know, a palette no matter how cute or fun has to perform well in order to make it worth your hard earned money. These days I am no longer into collecting makeup pieces just because they are in collaboration or themed after a movie. I want a product that I is good quality, that I can actually reach for and use. Does this palette deliver? Absolutely! Not only is the PÜR Cosmetics X Dreamwork's Trolls Eyeshadow Palette super cute and fun, it's a really good eyeshadow palette with some pretty kick ass shades.

As you can see the PÜR Cosmetics X Dreamwork's Trolls Eyeshadow Palette delivers on pigmentation, smoothness of shadows without patchiness, and the finish on those shimmer/metallics is pretty insane. The mattes in the bottom three rows are also really solid. The top row is the only row that was a little blah for me, with the exception of the shade Fuzzy which is really pigmented. 

The  PÜR Cosmetics X Dreamwork's Trolls Eyeshadow Palette officially launches on January 8th on the PÜR Cosmetics website and will be exclusively at Kohl's on the 19th. This palette retails for $29 which I think is such a value for what you get. Overall I definitely recommend this palette, especially if you're a fan of the Dreamwork's Trolls movie. Or even if you're not a fan of the movie, but love the shades, because there are some serious stunners in this palette for sure!
