Ulta 21 Days of Beauty Haul

In September Ulta held their 21 Days of Beauty event which was really good this time around. They had the same sale in the spring and I remember not being too wowed by anything in that sale and I didn't buy a single item. Not the case with this Ulta 21 Days of Beauty, this one was full of great deals, awesome Platinum Perks and overall it was a great time to score some really great beauty products at 40-50% off. I contained myself as much as I could and only ordered things that I think I will really use and overall I think I did very well in not overspending.

My Ulta 21 Days of Beauty haul consists of: the Lorac Pro Contour Palette, two Lorac ColorSource Buildable Blushes, one Urban Decay Afterglow 8-Hour Blush, one BareMinerals BareSkin Concealer and a single Becca Mineral Blush. I had originally ordered two Becca blushes but my second pick was cancelled after selling out.

The Lorac ColorSource Buildable Blushes are my favorite from this haul. Honestly, I wanted at least two more. But knowing how many more blushes were part of the sale I ordered the two that I have been interested in since they launched. These are the shades: Cinematic and Chroma. These blushes retail for $22 and were 50% off.

Lorac ColorSource Buildable Blush in Cinematic (see swatch below). This is an amazing blush! It's INCREDIBLY pigmented and the formula is just so soft and beautiful. I am so happy I went with this everyday neutral that will go with any eye or lip look.

Lorac ColorSource Buildable Blush in Chroma is a beautiful berry shade that is not super pigmented so you can wear it easily without going to heavy or deep. It's not as pigmented as Cinematic but it's such a beautiful shade, I am in love with it.

One of the more exciting products, which sold out before 7 the morning of the sale, were the Becca Mineral Blushes which retail for $32. These went on sale 50% off and I ordered two but only ended up getting one. The shade I did get is the very popular Flowerchild shade.

This is the first Becca blush that I own and I can't wait to use it. It swatches very soft and beautiful and I love the golden shimmery finish. Flowerchild is very similar to Nars Orgasm blush which actually costs $30, so it's not a more affordable dupe but if you're looking for something similar then this one definitely is.

The next blush in my haul is the Urban Decay Afterglow 8-Hour Blush in the shade Video which is a very pretty soft nude. I love the packaging of these blushes, it's very sleek and cool. These blushes are normally $26 and were on sale for only $13. I definitely wanted to pick out at least one more but sanity won and I stuck to a shade that I know for sure will get a lot of use.

The Urban Decay Afterglow 8-Hour Blush in the shade Video isn't super pigmented as you will see in the swatches below, it's definitely a lot less pigmented than the other blushes in this haul. But it is a beautiful everyday nude shade and at 50% off it was quite the deal.

From top to bottom:  Lorac Colorsource Buildable Blush in Chroma, Cinematic, Urban Decay Afterglow 8-Hour Blush in Video and Becca Mineral Blush in Flowerchild.

This swatch in no way shows the glorious finish of the Flowerchild blush which has a beautiful shimmer. I used artificial lighting for these photos and it was harder to catch the finish just right, but trust me, it's gorgeous. Overall I am super happy with my color selection for these blushes as I know these are shades that I can wear over and over again.

The next item is something I have wanted to try for some time now, this is the BareMinerals BareSkin Complete Coverage Serum Concealer. I have been on a concealer kick for a few months and have been trying many out and this is one that was on my list to grab. Getting it for $11 was quite the deal and though I haven't yet tried it, I am excited to do so. Will it be as good as my current faves: the Too Faced Born This Way and Catrice Liquid Camoflauge? We shall see.

Probably the most exciting item from the Ulta 21 Days of Beauty had to be the Lorac PRO Contour Palette. This went from $45 to $27 as a Platinum Perk on the 11th and I was right there at 11 placing my order the night of the sale. Unfortunately, I ordered two and one arrived broken. Ulta has been unable to replace it because they are out of stock so today I am going to visit a store to see if they have any so I can either exchange it or simply return it. It's a pretty big hassle as I don't live by an Ulta and will have to go out of my way.

Still even with the broken item that I now have to return, I am pretty happy with this Ulta 21 Days of Beauty sale and I think I scored some pretty awesome deals. What if anything did you pick up from this sale?
